Children’s Ministry at MABC is blessed and privileged to weekly present the gospel to children; and to help train children to know, obey, and defend God’s Word.
Currently, (beginning the week of November 1st) a team of volunteers lovingly serves parents and their children by teaching Sunday School outdoors during our Sunday service. Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade are encouraged to attend. Younger children may also join, if accompanied by an adult.
During the first part of the service children are in the main service as we sing, read Scripture, and pray as a church family. At a break in the service, children follow our children’s ministry leaders to outdoor Sunday school.
We ask that parents personally sign their children in and out each week so we can help ensure the safety of our children. This will also help with communication between parents and teachers. Sign-in will take place before the worship service begins.
The following procedures will be enforced in an effort to protect each other:
While we hope our Sunday schoolers will join us, families are welcome to stay together and remain a part of the main service, if preferred.
Our hope is that our children’s ministry is a supplement to what parents are already implementing at home, instructing, training and shepherding daily. If you are looking for help in this area we encourage you to come talk to one of the pastors, elders, or volunteers on the children’s ministry team.
Please know that the lines of communication are always open and questions are always welcome. We want you to feel confident putting your children into the MABC Children’s Ministry activities.
Please feel free to contact Amanda@mountabc.org.
We also encourage our Sunday schoolers to join us on Zoom weekly. Join us for a time of discovering how God’s Word is our foundation!
